This heritage glassware is the result of a fifteen year old partnership between a community recycling center, designers and environmentalists from Northern California. Aiming to filter glass from the waste stream, they created this collection to upcycle the raw material, by melting crushed recycled glass in furnaces, adding rich pigment, and pressing the molten glass into beautiful, functional glassware.
